Welcome to A-League Soccer! Our most popular youth sports league of the year! A-League Soccer will introduce and develop age appropriate skills and game-play strategies that lead to a lifelong enjoyment of “The Beautiful Game”, while creating a foundation of physical abilities that translate to a variety of other sports and activities! Our program features a progression based curriculum that provides a stepping stone approach to soccer skill development, and provides a well-rounded understanding of the game rules and strategies. Like all of our youth sports leagues, our soccer league is committed to our program’s Core Values of Inclusion, Skill Development, Family Balance, and Lifelong Enjoyment of the Game!

CONCESSIONS INFORMATION*: The Festival Foods Concession Stand at USA Youth Sports Complex will be open each Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. They will have a variety of food and drink items available each week. The drink menu includes a variety of soda flavors and water along with coffee, hot cocoa, and cappuccino for the mornings or cold Fall days. The food menu includes popcorn, nachos, pretzels, chips, granola bars, and candy. Late morning into early afternoon, we will have Festival Foods’ hot dogs, Oktoberfest brats, and Festy burgers grilled fresh and ready for you as well!

DATES: September 7 through October 19, 2024 (No games Saturday, October 5)
DAY: Saturday Games, plus a weekly practice to be coordinated by team coach.
AGES: Children entering Kindergarten (5K) through 8 Grade in the 2024-2025 school year
LOCATION: Games will be played at Scheels USA Youth Sports Complex, 3300 E Evergreen Dr. Practices will be held at various parks throughout the city determined by the team coach.
GAME TIMES: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Game start times will vary by age level and a schedule will be provided before the season starts.
PRACTICES: All teams will have a practice once a week that will be scheduled by the volunteer coach and held at various parks throughout the city.
FEE: $40 for residents/$65 for non-residents if registered by July 3, 2024
$50 for residents/$75 for non-residents if registered after July 4, 2024

TEAM STRUCTURE:
- Kindergarten teams and Teen Core (7th & 8th Grade) are Co-ed (boys and girls together). All other formats are separated by gender and grade.
- Grade levels are kept separate when possible (depending on participation rates), and grouped together when necessary (5th & 6th Grade combined, for example).
- Play with your friends! Children will be placed onto teams by school (or combinations of nearby schools). Specific Friend and Coach Requests WILL BE HONORED whenever possible!
COACHES: Our sports programs rely on great volunteer coaches, and coaching is a rewarding way to positively impact the lives of our young athletes. We provide comprehensive training and lesson materials which enable all of our volunteers to be successful, so if you have the skill and confidence to lead and encourage kids, then you already have what it takes to be a great coach! Indicate your interest in coaching under the “Coach Sign Up” section during registration.
