Appleton Kids Fun Runs provide children ages 2-12 an opportunity to participate in an encouraging race open to all levels & abilities. Race participants enjoy a family friendly atmosphere that encourages kids to move & get healthy. Come and share the joy of fitness with your entire family! Our first fun run will be partnered up with one of our Movies on the Hill, so families can make a night of it. Our second fun run we are bringing back the COLOR RUN since we had such a blast last year. The Color Run is also our kick off to Children’s Week event!
This is a FREE event/program for children and their families that Appleton Parks & Recreation hosts in collaboration with Run Away Shoes and in partnership with the Fox Cities Marathon.

Grab your grass skirts, flower crowns, tropical shirts, and island warrior gear for a Moana-themed fun run! Run your way through a tropical course filled with island vibes and music that will make you feel like a true wayfinder. Back for the third year, the Color Me Fun Run will be the kick off event for U.S. Venture Children’s Week! Dress up in an old shirt that your don’t mind getting lots of color on. A light colored or white shirt works best! Have a colorful time running the course to some energetic, motivational music. It will also be a great place to learn all about the Children’s Week activities that are planned, so help us kick it off!
