Celebrate the season with a festive challenge full of competition and FUN! Rally your team for a high-energy holiday road rally across Appleton, where you’ll solve clues, snap pictures, record videos, and complete geotagged missions to earn points.
Presented by Appleton Parks and Recreation and Boldt, this timed event guarantees brain-bending puzzles, spontaneous dance-offs, hilarious singalongs, and unforgettable memories. All the action happens through a mobile app that keeps track of your team’s progress – so get ready to DASH, laugh, and create holiday cheer!
DATE: Saturday, December 7, 2024
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
FEES (PER TEAM): $30 resident/$35 non-resident
TEAM REQUIREMENTS: Teams can be groups of 2-6 people. Families, teens and adults can all get involved. Teams must have a smartphone to access the game through the GooseChase App. Each team must also have a driver with a valid driver’s license. All team members MUST stay together. (You are not allowed to split up your team to divide and conquer, but we understand if you need to take separate cars).
LOCATION: Various locations throughout Appleton
HOW IT WORKS: The Dash will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. when the missions will automatically load in the GooseChase app. Each mission will have a point value attached to it. Your team will have 3 hours to complete and submit as many missions as possible. Make sure to check your standings on the app’s leaderboard as you go.

BONUS POINTS: Make sure to bring your Holiday Spirit! We encourage you to wear your ugly sweaters, matching Christmas pajamas, or any other holiday attire/costumes you may have. Teams will be awarded bonus points for getting festive!
REGISTRATION: Only one person from the team needs to register. Be prepared to enter a team name during registration. More details on the app and specific games rules will be sent to the team via email the week of the event. Please make sure to verify the email address on your account when registering the team.
