Camp APRD offers more than your traditional summer camp. Our camp is outside during the prime summer months, which allows your child the opportunity to canoe, fish and explore nature! We focus on making your child feel welcome and plan activities that encourage teamwork, creativity and self-confidence.
Campers will also check out the Scheig Center for a nature break, have mini Zumba® classes, learn fun facts with the Watershed Alliance, hang out with the City’s own fire, police and forestry departments….who doesn’t want to learn to climb a tree?
Each week has a theme with corresponding activities including a field trip (built into the cost of the camp, no hidden fees!). Campers will also go ice skating at the Appleton Ice Center, try out archery and learn about safety and emergency preparedness from at Appleton Fire, Police and Public Health departments.
Guidelines: Participants should bring a bag lunch and water bottle each day. Field trips and weekly activities are subject to change based on availability.
NEW FOR 2021: To maximize participation, we have limited the registration to 3 weeks per child. If openings are still available by April 1, 2021, participants can register for more weeks.

FEE PER WEEK: $110/resident, $135/non-resident
CAMP APRD CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds will be given up to one week prior to the start of camp, minus a $10 processing fee.
