This is Laura's 13th year teaching at UDA. Laura is also in her 4th year as the assistant coordinator. She danced with UDA since the age of 4, and received a scholarship at the age of 8 to dance at Makaroff's School of Ballet. Laura has an associates degree in Marketing and also enjoys judging for the Appleton North Lightning Bolt Explosion dance competition. Laura enjoys teaching all different ages and dance genres for UDA, as well as choreographing for musicals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 daughters.
This is my 12th year at UDA. I was a student here since the age of four. I have taken all forms of dance. Thank you to my husband and parents for supporting my love for teaching with UDA, even though I know you hate me driving so far to do so twice per week! A fun fact about me is I am a 7th grade geography teacher at Campbellsport Middle School!
This is my 12th year teaching at UDA! I also took lessons here when I was 5 years old. I love to watch my students grow and accomplish their goals. I get excited when they master a trick they've been working on. A fun fact about me. My husband Jon and I have a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter.
This is my 1st year teaching at UDA. I went through the UDA program when growing up and I am so excited to be back as an instructor! I grew up taking mainly tap, and then extending to ballet/jazz/lyrical/ and hip hop in high school when I was on a competitive dance team. I have also choreographed several musical productions including, Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain, and Cinderella to name a few. When I'm not dancing, I am teaching choir at Shattuck Middle School in Neenah. I am very excited to rejoin the UDA family!
Her first year teaching at UDA, Alyssa is thrilled to rejoin the UDA family as an instructor. Growing up learning tap and lyrical through UDA, Alyssa became a Zumba instructor to continue her love of movement while studying Rhetoric and Writing at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.
I have been teaching with UDA for 5 years and I also have danced with UDA since I was 10. I love watching my students learn new things and seeing that lightbulb turn on when they get something for the first time. I can’t wait to keep teaching for many years to come!
I’m a junior at Appleton East High School and have been dancing with UDA for four years following about 6 years of gymnastics at Heart of the Valley. I love the atmosphere at UDA and enjoy being able to use my gymnastics knowledge to assist others.
