This eight-hour action packed course is open to youth ages 10-14. Students will learn the fundamentals of childcare (feeding/diapering/etc..), child safety (choking emergencies/home hazards/etc…), and also learn CPR/AED for Adult, Child, and Infant. This is a great class to build confidence as they enter the exciting world of babysitting, or if they are starting to stay home alone for the first time. The class is taught by using an assortment of relevant videos, lectures, hands on skill sessions and games. 

Enrolled students will receive: A digital course book prior to the start of class, a completion certificate for the Babysitting Class, and an 80 page American Heart Association Friends & Family student manual. 

Students will need to bring a lunch/beverage the day of the class.
