Welcome to A-League Flag Football! Come play under that lights on Tuesday nights. A-League Flag Football is designed to develop skills and an understanding of the game that will lead to a lifelong enjoyment of the game of football in a SAFE, structured and inclusive setting. In the A-League, youth will be taught proper techniques and game strategies, will improve and build upon those techniques in weekly practices, and will be given an opportunity to showcase their new abilities in scheduled league games that are centered on positive encouragement, inclusion and sportsmanship.
Registered youth will practice once per week, and participate in a 6 game season. Participants will receive a team t-shirt and all game equipment will be provided! Put your game face on and LET’S PLAY!
DATES: Games will be played Tuesdays, September 3 through October 8, 2024

LEAGUE & TEAM FORMAT:
1st & 2nd Grade* – Coed (boys and girls combined). One practice per week, to be scheduled by team coach. One game per week. 45 minute game (20 minute halves, 5 minute halftime)
3rd & 4th Grade* – Coed (boys and girls combined). One practice per week, to be scheduled by team coach. One game per week. 45 minute game (20 minute halves, 5 minute halftime)
5th & 6th Grade* – Coed (boys and girls combined). One practice per week, to be scheduled by team coach. One game per week. 45 minute game (20 minute halves, 5 minute halftime)
NEW! 7th & 8th Grade* – Coed (boys and girls combined). One practice per week, to be scheduled by team coach. One game per week. 45 minute game (20 minute halves, 5 minute halftime) Must have enough participants to run a league…please spread the word that we are expanding to 7th & 8th Grade!

FEE: $40 for residents/$65 for non-residents if registered by July 4, 2024

PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS! Children will be placed onto teams by school (or combinations of nearby schools). Specific friend and coach requests will be honored whenever possible!
COACHES: Our sports programs rely on great volunteer coaches, and coaching is a rewarding way to positively impact the lives of our young athletes. We provide comprehensive training and lesson materials which enable all of our volunteers to be successful, so if you have the skill and confidence to lead and encourage kids, then you already have what it takes to be a great coach! Indicate your interest in coaching under the “Coach Sign Up” section during registration.

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase and wear a mouth guard to both practices and games. Players are allowed to wear plastic molded cleats, however they are not required.
