Yoga for Kids

Yoga is for everyone! For kids, it can help build strength, flexibility, balance and motor skills. It can also reduce anxiety. In this class, the children will learn yoga poses, breathing techniques, as well as being introduced to the practice of mindfulness. All while having fun and learning more about themselves!



Instructor Bio:

Nancy Harrington is a pediatric Speeyogaladych/Language Therapist with 20 years of experience working with and teaching young children. She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Communicative Disorders from U.W. Stevens Point. She earned her Master of Science Degree from U.W.-Whitewater. Nancy holds a 200 Registered Yoga Teacher certification and specializes in teaching yoga to children. She believes all children can benefit greatly from the gift of yoga.  She wants children and "tweens" to hear the positive messages yoga has to offer and for them to know that they are wonderful, creative and have much to give.
