Disc Golf Course

General Disc Golf Information

The City of Appleton is proud to offer two unique disc golf courses that are located at Telulah Park and Pierce Park. Both courses are free of charge and operate seasonally during regular park hours, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Telulah Park Disc Golf Course

Located within Telulah Park, 1300 East Newberry Street, was established in 1997. This seasonal course consists of 9 holes/baskets. The course was redesigned from 18 holes to 9 holes course in 2013.  The need to protect and preserve the hillside is our highest priority.  The hill has seen substantial damage, tree roots are being exposed, vegetation is disappearing, etc.  The City of Appleton received two opinions from local civil engineers regarding the hillside damage and both concluded that the 9-hole course had to be removed to prevent further deterioration and damage that would be irreversible.

We have been working on obtaining land on the south side of the City in which we could build a well designed 18 hole disc golf course.  We understand the need for providing disc golf and continue to ensure it is considered wherever and whenever the opportunity would arise.

Pierce Park Disc Golf Course

Located within Pierce Park, 1035 West Prospect Avenue, was established in 1990. This 9 hole/basket course includes both long and short drives that are primairly made up of moderately wooded and flat open areas.
