Trails Master Plan

The City has hired Rettler Corporation from Stevens Point, WI to design and develop plans to extend a multi-use trail from the Riverheath Development site, located to the West of Lower Telulah Park, through the park along the Fox River to connect to Upper Telulah. Amenities to be included within the project are trail lighting, ADA canoe/Kayak launch, and a parking facility. Construction of the project is planned to begin spring of 2017.

Trails Master Plan

The City has hired Alta Planning and Design from Seattle, WA to develop and design a City trail plan that will map out future trail projects on land that is within the City's growth area, identify and mapping of connecting gaps, develop trail design best practices, and prioritization framework. Thank you to those that completed a trail survey, results are be tabulated and will assist with planning of the Trails Master Plan. This project is anticipated to be completed by late October.

Lutz Park Trail/Appleton Yacht Club

The City has hired CORRE, Inc. from Oconomowoc, WI to design and develop plans to build a multi-use trail from the railroad overpass on Pierce Ave. to the playground within Lutz Park. Improvements include the addition of trail lighting and landscaping. Also included is the replacement of seawall, riprap, and fencing along the Fox River. Construction of the project is planned to begin spring of 2017. See Fox Trail design information here.
